XL Trail series rock crawler chassis
2 seat version and 3 seat version
Jig Assembled and MIG tac'ed. Chassis is fully jig'ed to ensure everything is 100% correct and then MIG tac'ed, you will still need to fully weld out the chassis yourself.
XL Trail Chassis difference vs regular Trail Chassis,
- Door bars 2" wider on each side for more elbow room
- 2" Higher roof
- 2" deeper subframe to allow room for driver drop transfer case
- 2" engine compartment stretch for room for a v8 and small front radiator
- 2" cockpit stretch for more legroom
48” wide chassis, but doors bars are bumped out 2" on each side to 52" from the wing window to the B-Pillar for more elbow room
Chassis are all 1.75x.120 DOM main tubes with 1.25x.120 inner support bars, subframe and rockers are 1.75”x.188
Each kit is CNC cut, bent, and etched with part numbers and outlines of tube junctions
Designed for a 110-114” WB
Designed for all drivetrains such as LS/TH400/Atlas
Driver or Passenger drop transfer case
Designed to run all axle styles, portals/Dana 60/14b/etc, recommended to run no less than 68” WMS, 70” WMS is recommended
Clearance for front and rear steering
Each kit is made to order, as such it will take 4-6 weeks to schedule and get produced at the CNC shop and then 1-2 weeks for assembly. These are estimates though and it could be shorter or longer.
